Pack your blankets and chairs fellow Putnam Residents and join your neighbors at the 2008 Fireworks Display at Lake Carmel in Kent, Friday, July 4th at 9:30pm.

Getting There: Best bet is to take Terry Hill Road to Lake Shore Drive and then just find a place to park on one of the side streets. Have patience and a good time.  The fireworks go off facing Route 52 - so beware of the trees so you can get the best view.

Plan on getting to the Lake around  8:00pm then sit back, relax and enjoy the fireworks at dusk (about 9:15 - 9:30pm.)

RAIN DATE: Saturday, July 5th.

Please be kind to your neighbor’s and take your trash with you when you leave.

This annual event is made possible due to Putnam County Theater in the Barn and the generosity it receives from area businesses and local resident’s donations. The Town of Kent, by law, can only pay a portion of the cost. Whether you represent a business or you would like to give a few dollars out of your own pocket every donation helps.
