On Sunday, October 12, 2008 from 12:00pm to 5:00pm step back in time at Boscobel House and Gardens in Garrison, NY and see first-hand the kinds of horse-drawn transportation that abounded in the early part of the nineteenth century. Members of the Mid-Hudson Driving Association will be present to show off their horses and vehicles. There will be a narrated parade of the horse drawn vehicles beginning at 1:00 p.m., to be followed by competitive events highlighting the skill of both horse and driver. There will also be horse-drawn wagon rides around the property from 12:00 noon to 4:00 p.m. especially for families to enjoy.
Regular grounds admission fees apply.
