4th of July Fireworks in Carmel
[UPDATED 2010] Pack your blanket and folding chairs Putnam Residents and join your neighbors for the 2010 fireworks display on Route 52and Route 311 at Lake Carmel in Kent on Sunday, July 4th at 9:00pm.
This annual event is made possible because of the Putnam County Theater in the Barn and the generosity it receives from area businesses and local resident’s donations. The Town of Kent, by law, can only pay a portion of the cost.
The firework go off facing Route 52 - keep this in mind as some of the trees along Lake Shore Drive may block your view. Plan on getting to the Lake Carmel around 8:00pm, sit back, relax and enjoy the fireworks show at dusk (about 9:15 – 9:30pm.)
Please be kind to your neighbor’s and take your trash with you when you leave.
