Boscobel House & Gardens

boscobel_walkway.jpgPeace and quiet awaits you as you walk down the brick walkway of Boscobel House and Gardens, which is situated on a high buff of the east bank of the Hudson River with 45 acres of grounds in Garrison.

No matter when you visit Boscobel or how often, you will discover something new.  The brightly colored spring flowers and trees are georgeous. The summer’s warmth blooms over 600 big, beautiful and various colored rose bushes, which flower continuously in the formal Rose Garden from June through autumn.  The Fall foliage is amazing, and the winter festivities at Boscobel are not to be missed.

The house dates back to the early 1800′s and contains one of the nation’s premier collections of furniture and decorative arts from the Federal period.  The grounds are also open for picnicing and hiking.
