Woofstock 2010

The Friends of Sycamore Bark Park in Mahopac, New York is hosting a day of peace, doggy love and walk n’ roll on Sunday, August 8, 2010 from 10am to 5pm to raise funds to help support local rescue groups and to expand the dog park for agility equipment.

The park-wide family and best friend event will include demonstrations by agility dogs, dancing dogs, K-9 search and rescue dogs, therapy dogs, pet psychics, the local SkyHoundz disc flying competition, puppy bowl, puppy kissing booth, Zooky the clown, facepainting, pony rides, all day musical entertainment,  doggie chill zones, contests, tie dyeing, blessing of the dogs, a pet food and supply donation booth, raffles, vendors, Grateful Dog Walk, microchipping and fingerprinting, food, and more.

Oh yes, Fido may come also if he follows these rules: is vaccination current, is on a six foot lead or shorter,there is only one dog per adult handler, and no shock collars or retractable leads are used.  But if fido has issues with other dogs, children or adults, he should wait for you at home.
