Depot Wine and Liquor, a busy, upscale retail establishment, will hold its eagerly-awaited “Second Annual Tasting Extravaganza” on Staurday, December 10th from 1 – 5PM, announced the store’s manager Ryan Venezia. The tasting fete is doubling as a fundraiser: 10% of the sales from all wines on that day will be donated to United Way of Putnam County.

Nearly 150 kids and their parents crowded the Putnam Valley Library yesterday afternoon for its annual Halloween Party. Arts and crafts and glitter flew as kids created everything from ghost and pumpkin windsocks to candy apples of the paper kind to adorn their costumes and bags for Trick or Treat.
