Working Better Together: Tools for Inspired Interaction
The Putnam Community Service Network (PCSN), an educational program of Cornell Cooperative Extension, will sponsor a workshop to explore the dynamics of successful interaction. 'Working Better Together: Tools for Inspired Interaction' addresses techniques that are applicable in any organization that has become more complex as we interact with many people across diverse boundaries to reduce conflict while helping organizations grow & flourish.
Participants will learn to engineer better interactions by employing ways of thinking and acting that reduce conflict. Some of the topics to be discussed are: How to give and receive feedback, and adjusting orientation from reactive to proactive.The program is structured for Executive Directors, Program Managers and any staff in an organization who needs or wants to increase their effectiveness and work better as a team.
The presenter, Abby Straus, connects community leaders to each other and to great ideas, creating innovative solutions for success by serving the corporate, non-profit and educational communities as a facilitator, workshop leader and personal development coach.
